JLC Group installation of Cable Carrying Alligator at London Heathrow Airport

The Alligator cable carrier has been exclusively designed and manufactured in house and is more efficient and robust than the previous 'Crocodile'. It is a one-man operational product and allows for the secure carriage of the power output cables from the FEGP to the aircraft. Available with either 1 or 2 90kVA outputs, and deployment lengths up to 30 metres, our Cable Carrying Alligator is a fantastic example of UK engineering and a product for which we are extremely proud.

The cable basket is of a completely modular construction and has two output cable storage compartments where you can store one or two, 10m AC, 4 x 70mm output cables. The castors and brakes on the alligator are 300mm anti-puncture wheels with roller castors that provide free flowing movement.

Operational extras include basket steps, allowing operatives easy access to the aircraft, stamp lock brakes and 28VDC output.
